Who operates OurNameisMud.com?
OurNameisMud.com is independently owned and operated by Our Name is Mud founder and designer Lorrie Veasey through her company Mud Ecommerce. Mud Ecommerce (a dba of Lenny Mud Corp) is an independent company that is licensed to use the OurNameisMud.com name but is not affiliated with Enesco, LLC., the owner, developer, manufacturer and distributor of the Our Name is Mud brand. Our Name is Mud website Customer Service is available Toll Free at 877-683-7867, M-W 10:00 AM-4:30 PM Eastern Time, and Friday 10:00 AM- 4:30 PM.

Are your ceramics dishwasher and microwave safe?
We currently create mugs from two different types of clay: earthenware and stoneware. Unless otherwise specified Our Name is Mud ceramic items are safe to dishwash. Care instructions are included with items that require hand washing. Our Name is Mud items are safe to go into the microwave, but all ceramic items may heat up if placed in a microwave for too long at too high a setting, so please test first and use a potholder when removing.

Many of your items are made in China, are they safe?
Yes, all of our items are rigorously tested prior to shipment, and all pass FDA standards for toxicity.

Do you personalize product?
As of today, we do not personalize.  We are planning to introduce this in the second half of this year.  Please sign up on our mailing list, and we will send out a reminder when this is ready to go.

How do you use the Pebeo Porcelaine Pen that comes with many DIY items?

How and when do you ship orders?
We do our best to ship orders as soon as they are placed, and all order will be shipped within 2 business days.

Our preferred carrier is UPS Ground because they provide tracking information while the packages are in transit.  We also offer shipping through USPS Priority Mail in order to provide better value to some customers in remote locations.  USPS Priority Mail only provides confirmation of delivery, and not through transit tracking.

Can I ship to an international address?
We cannot currently ship outside of the United States through orders taken on our website.  If you would like to ship to another country, please send us an email at cs@ournameismud.com and we will provide you an estimate of shipping options to your location.

Will I receive an email confirming my order and will it have a tracking number?
You will receive one confirmation email immediately upon receipt of your order, and a second confirmation email containing tracking information when your order is shipped. USPS orders do not have tracking information.

Which Payment Options do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Paypal and Google Checkout.

Is your site secure?
We have taken many precautions to insure that shopping at OurNameisMud.com is safe and secure. We use the industry-standard SSL protocol (Secure Sockets Layer) to ensure that all credit card transactions are secure. The SSL system encrypts information that you submit to us via our Web site when you place an order. Encryption makes it extremely difficult for anyone to intercept information about you, your order, or your credit card information.

If I bought an Our Name is Mud item in a store, can I return it to OurNameisMud.com?
We can only accept returns from items bought on OurNameisMud.com beginning December 2010. Any others items must be returned to the retail outlet where it was purchased.

I have a credit or a gift certificate from one of the Our Name is Mud Stores, can I redeem it here?
OurNameisMud.com is not related to the retail stores that operated in New York City, and those credits and gift certificates are not valid on this website.

Can I purchase wholesale items from OurNameisMud.com?
Our Name is Mud items are available for retailer purchases through Enesco, LLC.,  the owner, developer, manufacturer and distributor of the Our Name is Mud brand. Enesco can be contacted at  www.enesco.com 1-800 4 ENESCO (1-800-436-3726).
